At trial, won a complete acquittal at trial for a client charged with attempted sex abuse for an individual who had previously been convicted on an earlier allegation against the same juvenile victim.

On appeal, successfully reversed a trial court decision that forced the client to proceed to trial without the attorney of his choice. The decision of a trial court to grant or deny a continuance is discretionary, and thus hard to reverse on appeal. Nevertheless, we successfully persuaded the Court of Appeals that the trial court had ÒabusedÓ that discretion. The result: a new trial.

On appeal, successfully reversed a trial courtÕs revocation of probation imposed in an embezzlement case. Defendant had been unable to pay court ordered restitution, and the trial court had ordered her probation revoked. We successfully argued that the trial court had failed to adequately justify the ruling. The result: trial court reversal.

On appeal to the Oregon Supreme Court, we challenged the clientÕs conviction of possession of narcotics, arguing that the narcotics found by police were not in the clientÕs control, but were in the purse of his girlfriend. The Oregon Supreme Court agreed. The result: conviction reversed.

At trial, won a complete acquittal after a jury trial for a client, a Hispanic male, who was charged with multiple counts of public indecency.

At trial, won an acquittal for a college student charged with assault for getting into a fight with another girl in her dormitory.

Earned a complete dismissal of charges of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Assault IV for a traffic accident involving a Portland Police Officer.
